Vegan Pesto

  • 2 cups basil leaves, loosely packed (washed and dried)

  • 3 tablespoons pine nuts*

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes

  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice

  • 3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
